In addition to the universal remote learning challenges all students will face this year, children and adolescents managing Multiple Sclerosis and other medical challenges may encounter additional stressors such as increased fatigue or difficulty with organization and executive functioning. It is important to ensure that patients are receiving appropriate supports to address their medical and academic needs as they navigate remote learning. This might include identifying and advocating for alternatives to services/accommodations that are included in IEPs and 504 plans. Below are some remote learning tips for both students and parents of students we hope will be useful to you during this time.
