As of 3/16/21, Moderna launched a phase 2/3 clinical trial on the Covid vaccine in children 6 months to 11 years old, after launching its trial in 12 to 17 year old children last year. Johnson & Johnson is planning to begin their trial in children 12 to 17 years old in the near future, before moving down to younger age groups. Pfizer recently completed a clinical trial in children 12 to 15 years old, in which their vaccine showed 100% efficacy against COVID-19. As of 5/10/21, the FDA has authorized the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine for this age group. We will update this page frequently as more information is available.
